Tips for Writing

It may sound ridiculous, but just write. Write a story or a plot. Sit down in a comfortable spot or on the bus/subway while going to work and type. Chances are you have a phone with an app for writing. If not, get one. Then you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish.

So, if you're like me and you are still writing, it's time to organize your thoughts. Create a folder and start putting your ideas together to make a short story, a fiction novel, nonfiction or a blog.

Make a plan for a short period of time - one week or one month - and establish a goal of writing 1,000 words each day. That is the equivalent of two short stories or more than 10% of a novel. You're on your way!
